NOTE: The vehicle must not be powered “on” in the maintenance process.

• Motor oil- For the first-time oil change, use the special oil for four stroke gearshift vehicles after the vehicle has ride 2000 km, and use the oil with lower viscosity to reduce the transmission resistance. The oil model used in the original vehicle is sj10w40, and the oil filling amount is the best according to the middle position of the oil window. After that, change the oil every 5000 km.
• Chain - After each use, check the tightness of the chain, clean and use rust proof lubricant in time, and replace the chain when it reaches the limit，once every 8,000 km
• Battery: charge it fully and measure the voltage of the anode and cathode of the discharge port via a multimeter. The measured voltage should be 72-74V. (TYE-3000) battery is not used for a long time. Unplug the battery. The best storage voltage is 72-74V. Check the voltage every 30 days and supplement it in time.
• Shock absorber and oil - Once every six months: front shock absorber maintenance, brake oil replacement, and rear shock absorber maintenance
• Handlebar (screws) - Tightness of all handlebar screws
• Clean the switch and plug with compressed air after washing the vehicle
• Spokes - Tightness of the spokes of the front and rear wheels
• Brake pad replacement: when its thickness is less than 5 mm
• Brake disc replacement: when the braking surface of the disc is less than 1.5mm thick, always keep the disc brake system clean. Remove any mud, debris, or oil contamination.
• Vehicle bearing replacement: abnormal sound and loosening
• Tire replacement: less than 2/3 of the tread depth of a new tire

Maintenance of Motor and Controller

• Regularly check that motor screws are not loose.
• Regularly check that the connecting wires of the motor and controller are not loose and are

properly insulated.

• Regularly check that the fuse is not loose.
• Do not ride in deep water to avoid damaging motor operation.

*NOTE

The vehicle will automatically run with low power output in the event of excessively high motor or controller temperature or low remaining battery. This does not indicate faulty behavior.

    WARNING

When operating the vehicle in water or mud, the depth must not exceed the center of the wheel. In other words, no deeper than the height of the axle. Long-time immersion of the motor in water may lead to motor failure.

C   AUTION

Tips for using the clutch: The torque output of the motor is different from that of the internal combustion engine. The clutch is only used when shifting gears. It is prohibited to use the half clutch. If the incorrect half clutch state continues to work , the clutch plate will be burned. The clutch plate is not within the warranty range. Please use it as required to reduce the damage to the clutch plate!
