Trouble Shooting and Fault Code Table

When you are using EM/TYE3000 Enduro Motorcycle, you may need to face some technical issues once in a while. The following chart offers a guide to help identify an issue, and if possible, repair by yourself. When you cannot solve the problem, take it to an authorized dealer or reach us.

 IssuesPossible CausesCorresponding Solution
1Cut-Off Issue once in a whileWhen rider over when ride over the slope, Cause of high Power, the current over 300A.If you use old version Controller (Yuanshen Brand), it may have this issue, the best way is to replace it and using our updated new controller (CHITU), or ask for controller software to adjust the data.
2Vehicle makes abnormal noise when ridingThe chains don’t have the right tension or the Chain guide are outdated and aging   Adjust chains to proper tension or use new Chain guide
3Speed data or distance display is not accurate issueThe Speed sensor do not have the correct installation, the speed sensor is far away from Magnetic indication point of the front wheelPlease adjust or re-install the speed sensor correctly
4Battery% can drop 5%-10% lower when stationary IssueCause of the delay in data transmission For the old version 2022 it may have this issue, for the new 2023 version, we use the CAN 485 COMMUNICATION System, it can help solve this.
5  Charger does not workThe charger plug falls off or the connection is loose The battery connection falls off or is looseFix the plug or connector firmly Open the battery compartment cover and plug in the communication and discharge plug firmly
6  Twist throttle get loose issuethe twist throttle get loose cause of the thread locker do not work any morePlease use new thread locker install the twist throttle and make it stable
7    Wobbly handlebarDeformed front tire or excessive wear of tire Incorrect tire pressureBalance/ replace the tire supplied by the original factory Inflate to the correct tire pressure, replace when necessary. Tighten any loose parts.
8  The motor does not work after power-onThe battery connecting wire is loose The accelerator wiring and cables are loose The motor connecting wire falls off Brake lever does not return or brake switch failedCheck whether the wires are connected firmly Connect the accelerator firmly Reconnect the wire firmly Check the brake lever and brake switch
9Insufficient range per chargeUnder-inflation for tires Undercharge or charger failure Improper braking adjustment, excessive running resistance Battery aging or damage Upslope, upwind, frequent acceleration and deceleration, heavy loadInflate the tire to proper pressure Fully charge the battery Readjust the brake Replace the battery Avoid or limit unfavorable riding environment/ habits NOTE: When the temperature is low, a reduction in range is normal. Battery performance will recover after the temperature rises.
10Other issuesIf you encounter any problem that you cannot pinpoint or solve by yourself, please send the vehicle to a repair center.  Any damages caused by improper operation by the user will not be covered by Edge Power Warranty.
